A Journey Through Native Vine
Napoli Wine Tours invites guests to immerse themselves in the heart of Campania’s wine culture with a full‑day educational journey through the renowned Irpinia region. Led by a professional sommelier, this experience goes beyond simple tasting: it offers a deep exploration of the area’s celebrated terroirs, native grape varieties, and centuries‑old winemaking traditions. Throughout the day, guests visit select family‑run wineries, walk through historic vineyards, and learn directly from the experts who craft Irpinia’s iconic labels such as Fiano di Avellino, Greco di Tufo, and Taurasi. Designed for curious travelers and passionate wine lovers alike, this tour blends knowledge, storytelling, and sensory discovery—revealing why Irpinia stands among Italy’s most distinctive and prestigious wine territories.
A multi-course lunch in the vineyard’s panoramic dining terrace will be served, with all ingredients sourced from estate gardens or local farms, paired with wines for each course, explained by the sommelier.

Vesuvius Uncorked: A Wine Journey Beneath the Volcano
After guests are greeted by a personal driver in a luxury vehicle, they will be taken to the estate inside the National Park of the Vesuvius while enjoying a scenic drive through the Vesuvius countryside with curated stories about Vesuvius’ winemaking legacy and local legends told by their dedicated sommelier guide for the experience. Once arrived at the estate with panoramic views of Mount Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples, a guided walk through ancient vines of Piedirosso, Aglianico, Catalanesca and Caprettone will start, with soil demonstration exploring the volcanic layers that shaped the region’s unique flavor profiles with a unique and special access to the off-the-beaten-track which dates back to 79AD Vesuvius eruption which destroyed Pompeii. Guests will learn about native grape varietals, microclimates, and sustainable viticulture, covering topics like of Vesuvian grapes & Roman wine culture, legends of wine in Campania: as well as wine faults & taints, and Food pairing principles: with the support of interactive aroma kits and flavor wheels provided for hands-on learning.

The Ultimate Campania Felix evening tasting
After guests are greeted by a personal driver in a luxury vehicle, they will be taken to the wine bar LaGiarra where the dedicated sommelier will be waiting for them. Once arrived at the wine-bar, the experience will star with a twenty minutes introduction to the history of wine in the World, in Italy and Campania supported by a light and pleasant PP presentation. In line with the guests’ taste and preferences, the educational wine tasting will focus exclusively on local grape varieties and will boast what the sommelier considers are the season best vintages of five indigenous grape varieties paired with local delicatessen.
